SUMMER RETREAT IN THE FLORAL REGALIA
OF THE EMPEROR’S NEW GARDENS

Daily from 9 am to 6pm.

With the motto ‘The Emperor’s New Gardens’, the Upper Austrian Garden Show in Bad Ischl offers 164 days of relaxation and enjoyment. In 2015, the centre of the Salzkammergut dons its floral gown. With the Kaiserpark, the garden show comprises one of the most important historical gardens in Austria. As the garden show location, Bad Ischl provides two distinct opportunities: to fundamentally renovate and repair the historical garden areas from the nineteenth century and to create new, contemporary gardens and play areas which can not only benefit the many visitors but also the residents of the city and region. Combining traditional and modern elements is the significant challenge of this particular garden show. We hope the garden show encourages visitors to thrive and provides countless impressions and moments of inspiration.
